ประวัติดาบ

ชมรมต่อสู้ป้องกันตัว แผนก อาวุธไทย (เจ้าราม) เกิดขึ้นเมื่อประมาณ ปี พ.ศ. 2514 (ค.ศ. 1971) จากการรวมตัวกันของศิษย์สำนักดาบต่าง ๆ จากทั่วประเทศ ซึ่งได้เดินทางเข้ามาศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง ที่เริ่มเป็นการศึกษาครั้งแรกในปีนั้น

จากกลุ่มเพื่อนที่สนใจในการฝึกฝนศิลปะต่อสู้และป้องกันตัวแบบเดียวกันที่มีทั้ง ดาบไทย กระบี่กระบอง พลอง ไม้ศอก มีดสั้น และมวยไทย จึงได้การแสดงละครอิงประวัติศาสตร์ภายในมหาวิทยาลัย มีการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ขึ้น เช่น การฝึกสอนนักศึกษาในรุ่นต่อๆมา, การเผยแพร่และสาธิตให้แก่ภาครัฐและเอกชน

และช่วงเวลากว่า 20 ปีที่ผ่านมา วิชาดาบไทย จากชมรมฯ อาวุธไทย เจ้าราม ได้รับเอา มวยไชยา ศาสตร์โบราณแขนงหนึ่งเข้ามาปรับประยุกต์รวมกัน โดยนำเอาเคล็ดวิธี ลีลาบางส่วน ผสมผสายเข้าไว้ในหลักสูตรการฝึก

เอกลักษณ์ เฉพาะตัวที่โดดเด่นของอาวุธไทยเจ้ารามคือการ รุกตีที่หนักหน่วง รุนแรง ดุดัน แต่พริ้วไหว และการรับที่รัดกุม ปกป้อง คุมตัว เน้นการเข้าประชิดติดตัว อีกทั้งหลัก สามขุม วิธีการเคลื่อนเท้าที่มีความซับซ้อน คล่องตัว ช่วยให้เกิดทักษะที่คล่องแคล้ว ทั้งกลรุก และกลรับ อีกด้วย.

History

The weapon division of martial art club at Ramkhamhaeng University, named “Chao Ram,” was established in 1971. The division was founded by a group of various weaponry school successors who traveled from many parts of Thailand to study in the university in that year.

Developed from a group of friends who were interested in martial arts, including Thai sword (dab), saber (krabi), staff (plong), tonfa (mai sok), knife (meed sun) and Thai boxing (muaythai), the weapon division “Chao Ram” has become a strong contributor to Thai martial arts conservation and has organized a number of Thai martial arts activities e.g. teaching Thai martial arts to succeeding generations of the university, performing Thai history stageplay, and demonstrating Thai martial arts to public.

For 20 years, Chaoram has developed the art of Thai sword by adapting some techniques of the ancient art of Muay Chaiya and included them into the training course.

The uniqueness of Chaoram’s weaponry art is the powerful, aggressive but flexible attack as well as the concise and effective defense. It emphasises the method of approaching with Samkhum, Thai distinctive moving principle, which is complex but dextrous and efficiently support attack and defense strategy.

Born in Tak, Thailand, in 1976

Started training martial arts with ancient weapons at Ramkhamhaeng University in 1996 and taught Thai martial arts to students of the university in 1999-2003. At the same time, also studied Muay Thai Chaiya which had been inherited through the grand master Thonglor Yalae in the university.

Took part in Pahuyuth Club and Siam Yuth Training Center in 2003-10 under the name of the dissemination teacher together with Kru Lamp. In 2010, Start Thai Achira Group, with Kru Lamp, in order to spread Thai martial arts to the world

Now : founded “Tactical Thai Sword group” to spread Muay Chaiya and Krabi Krabong to the world.

Taught martial arts; Thai boxing Muay chaiya style and Krabi Krabong, in over ten cities in Germany in 2011.

2016 – 2020

Seminar and Promote Instructor in Germany, Cyprus, Singapore, Korea Now have 7 Thai instructor and 35 Foreign Instructor Team
