The Kru Muaythai Association (KMA) is proud to announce the launch of its new website and global membership platform, marking an important milestone in the continued growth of our international network.
Designed to connect the global Muay Thai community, the new platform brings together KMA-certified Muay Thai teachers (Kru), affiliated Muay Thai schools and gyms, registered members and international partner organisations in one centralised global directory.
More than just a website, this new platform represents an important step forward in strengthening international connections, supporting qualified instructors, promoting structured Muay Thai education and preserving the traditions and heritage of Thailand's national martial art.
A Global Directory of Certified Muay Thai Teachers, Gyms and Members
One of the key features of the new KMA website is the KMA Global Directory, providing a central resource for discovering certified Muay Thai instructors, affiliated training facilities and recognised members around the world.
The directory connects:
Certified Muay Thai Teachers (Kru): Discover KMA-certified instructors and their qualifications, experience and professional profiles.
Affiliated Muay Thai Schools and Gyms: Find recognised KMA-affiliated academies and training facilities across different countries.
Registered KMA Members: Connect with practitioners and members of our international Muay Thai community.
International Partner Organisations: Discover organisations working alongside the KMA to promote, develop and preserve Muay Thai and traditional Thai martial arts.
Whether you are looking for a qualified Muay Thai instructor, searching for an affiliated gym, or interested in connecting with an established martial arts organisation, the KMA Global Directory aims to make it easier to find and connect with our international network.
By increasing the visibility of certified teachers and affiliated schools, we aim to support professional recognition, encourage international collaboration and make quality Muay Thai instruction more accessible worldwide.
International Muay Thai Education, Certification and Student Grading
At the heart of the Kru Muaythai Association is a commitment to maintaining high standards of Muay Thai education, instruction and technical development.
Through our established teacher certification programme and structured curriculum, the KMA provides a progressive educational pathway for individuals wishing to develop their knowledge and skills in Muay Thai, whether as students, practitioners, coaches or professional teachers.
Working in accordance with the World Muay Boran Federation (WMBF) syllabus, the KMA supports a structured student grading system based on the traditional Khan levels.
The Khan grading system provides a progressive framework for assessing student development, recognising technical achievements and ensuring that practitioners continue to develop their knowledge and understanding of the art.
This shared syllabus and grading structure helps affiliated schools and certified teachers maintain consistency in instruction and assessment across different countries, while ensuring that the technical foundations, cultural values and traditional knowledge of Muay Thai are passed on to future generations.
Our objective is not simply to promote participation in Muay Thai, but to develop knowledgeable practitioners, qualified instructors and responsible teachers who understand the art beyond its sporting application.
Supporting Certified Kru and Affiliated Muay Thai Schools Worldwide
The KMA recognises that qualified teachers and established training facilities are the foundation of the international Muay Thai community.
Through our global network, we aim to support certified Kru and affiliated gyms by providing greater professional recognition, opportunities for international connections and access to a shared educational framework.
The new website also provides a centralised platform for managing membership information, teacher profiles and student records, helping the association maintain a more organised and accessible international database.
For students and practitioners, this creates an opportunity to identify recognised instructors and affiliated schools while learning more about the qualifications and educational pathways available through the KMA.
A New Digital Platform for KMA Members
All existing KMA members should have received an email containing their login details and instructions for accessing their personal profiles.
Once logged in, members will be able to:
Update their profile photograph and personal biography.
Manage their public teacher or member profile page.
Update their affiliated school or gym information.
Input and maintain student records.
Record student development and Khan grading progress.
Keep their membership and certification information up to date.
The new student management system is an important development in helping KMA Headquarters and affiliated schools maintain accurate records of registered students and certified teachers across our international network.
We encourage all existing members to log in, review their information and familiarise themselves with the new platform.
Growing Together – Your Feedback Matters
As with any new digital platform, the website is still in its early stages of development. We are currently working through some initial teething issues and will continue to refine and improve the system as more members begin using it.
We welcome all feedback, suggestions and reports of technical issues you may encounter. Your input is invaluable in helping us develop a more efficient, user-friendly platform that genuinely serves the needs of our teachers, schools, students and international partners.
We appreciate your patience and support as we continue improving the system.
Preserving Muay Thai Heritage and Building a Global Future
The launch of the new KMA website represents more than a technological upgrade. It is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening the international Muay Thai community, supporting qualified teachers, promoting structured martial arts education and preserving the traditions of Muay Thai and Muay Boran.
Through our global network of certified Kru, affiliated schools, registered members and partner organisations, we continue working towards a shared vision: to maintain high standards of instruction, encourage international cooperation and ensure that the knowledge and traditions of Thai martial arts are preserved and passed on to future generations.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to every Kru, teacher, student, school, gym and partner organisation for your continued dedication and support.
Thank you for being part of the Kru Muaythai Association global family.
Together, we preserve the traditions, uphold the standards and pass on the legacy of Muay Thai to future generations.
