Arjarn Marco De Cesaris, italian, AITMA and KruMuayThai Association Europen observer for Muay Thai Boran.

Dott. Marco De Cesaris started training in Muay Thai in 1978 during his
first stay in Bangkok. Along the years he has been a fighter, trainer, promoter, referee and president of the first italian Muay Thai federation.

He trained extensively under the tutelage of Mr. Chokechaichana Krutsuwan at Pinsinchai Gym in Bangkok and, as a coach of professional thai boxers, he trained a total of 7 world champions, 4 european champions and 3 intercontinental champions. In 1994 thanks to the help and teaching of Grand Master Woody, who was at the time IAMTF International Coordinator, he started to investigate the intricacies of traditional Muay Thai and was so entusiastic about the old Art of Siam that finally, in year 2000, he founded the first international school entirely devoted to traditional Muay Thai (now with branches in 8 countries worldwide) that he named International Muay Boran Academy (IMBA). Dott. De Cesaris has written 3 books on Muay Thai and Muay Boran, produced 14 technical videotapes on modern and traditional Muay Thai and currently operates as a regular contributor to the number one international Martial Arts magazine named Budo International.
